speed-chats · weekends · small group
Taste languages — beginners welcome.
An immersive, headphones-on evening — a bit like speed-dating, but for languages. Hear a native, repeat, then chat with a partner. Beginner-friendly, low-pressure and genuinely fun. Pick at least two from our menu; four weekend evenings in a tiny Belgrade gallery.

It's not a course. It's a language tasting.
You don't sign up to "finally learn Serbian in 4 months." You come to taste languages — like a wine tasting, but for your mouth and your brain. In four cozy evenings you'll speak real phrases in several languages, find out which one clicks for you, and meet people who love this stuff too. No textbooks. No grammar drills. No one puts you on the spot.
how it works
The native is in your ears. 🎧
Each language lives on its own A3 dialogue sheet, displayed on the gallery walls like artwork. Scan the QR code and a native speaker reads it straight into your headphones — so you're never guessing how it should sound.
Listen
Scan the QR code on the dialogue sheet — a native speaker reads it straight into your headphones.
Shadow
Repeat out loud, copy the melody. No grammar lectures — just the sound and the rhythm.
Play it live
Run the dialogue with a partner, swap roles, swap partners. Your guide keeps the room moving.
Bring your own headphones — it's the one thing we can't lend you. You'll leave with a few phrases you can actually say, and your stamped language passport.

Who it's for
This is for you if you…
- get nervous speaking and want a soft, safe place to start
- studied a language once and forgot most of it
- are curious about several languages, not married to one
- find traditional courses heavy and slow
- just moved to Belgrade and want to dip into Serbian
This is not for you if you…
- need intensive, exam-level study of a single language
- want fluency by next month
If you've ever thought "wait, I could actually do this" — you're exactly who we made this for.

your guide
Meet Nelli — your guide (and future polyglot).
I'm a few steps ahead on the same path you're on — and that's exactly what makes this work. I speak Georgian, English and Serbian, get by in French, Italian and Turkish, and read (plus trade a few phrases) in several more. For two and a half years I've run a language club five evenings a week — hundreds of sessions and a community that keeps coming back. I bring the method (shadowing, reading, tiny dialogues), the structure, and the energy that gets a room full of strangers brave enough to speak. The native pronunciation comes from the recordings.

What members say
Real people from our online club — running five evenings a week for over two years.
“I come just to give my brain a workout — I'm not even trying to ‘learn’ Korean and Japanese. And Tatar. And Turkish. And Romanian. And Serbian. And Dutch. Somebody stop me 😂 But now I can tell these languages apart and enjoy small wins session after session.”
Nadya
“I'm chatting in two Georgian group chats and for the first time it feels easy. For five years, reading and replying was my hardest task — I used to Google-translate everything. Now I just write, maybe peeking at one word.”
Aleksandra · @Ferrhega
“I love the concept: you learn to switch between languages quickly, in an easy mode, with no criticism and no obligation. It's a great brain workout — and so motivating to be around people who are also learning.”
Maya · @maryrosenblum
“I'm usually a one-thing, stubborn kind of person, but the club has shown me really interesting things and made me open to trying new directions. What we did with the Japanese letters was wonderful.”
Rodrigo · @Herrpilgrim
“The meetings are in English, so I get to practice — and everyone there is learning too, which makes it so much easier to get over the language barrier. Plus the method: all languages seem to share something, and this format helps you find those connections.”
Veronika · @v_e_r_o_n_i_k_saf
“Objectively, nobody ‘learns’ a dozen languages the way most people mean it — but telling them apart and managing to say hello and interact is completely real. The atmosphere is so friendly: nobody yells, nobody pressures, we help each other and we laugh. Besides the brain workout, I leave in a great mood.”
Anya
“Not much is clear yet 😄 but I loved it! You're awesome. I'm definitely coming back — actually, I want to join for good.”
Ergena, after her first session
“It sounded so difficult on the first day, but now things are going better. Every new Georgian word I learn makes me feel better. Thank you for your patience!”
A lady from Italy
“Nelli, thank you — I had a blast in that session!”

good questions
FAQ
I want to focus on just one language — is this for me?
You'll get more out of it picking two, but you can lean hard into one and just sample the rest. The magic is in switching.
Can I join if I'm a total beginner in everything?
Yes. Zero level is the default setting here.
You're not a native speaker — why should I trust you?
You're not learning pronunciation from me — the natives are in your headphones. I'm your guide: I bring the method, keep it fun, and make sure nobody freezes. My proof is my own result and two years of running this.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just headphones (any kind) and yourself.
Is there homework?
No. Never.
What if my languages don't match the group?
We balance every cohort from the applications so there are always enough partners for each language. That's why the form asks what you want to practice and what you already speak.
Where and when?
A small gallery on Balkanska 44, Belgrade. Weekend sessions — Saturday evening or Sunday brunch time (we confirm with the group).
